Before you call
Do you charge for an estimate?
No. Nate comes out, walks the property line, talks through what the fence is for, checks the ground and access, and puts a clear, itemized, no-obligation quote to it — whether it's a single gate repair or a full backyard install. Homeowners describe us as easy to work with and reasonably priced right from the first visit, and you're under no pressure to move forward.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes — All For You Fencing is licensed and insured, so you're protected from the estimate through to the finished fence. It's part of why homeowners across Wake, Johnston and Harnett Counties have trusted us since 2020.
What kinds of fence do you install?
Just about every type a Carolina property needs: wood (privacy, picket, shadowbox, scalloped), vinyl, ornamental aluminum, chain-link, farm-style and ranch-rail, welded-wire, and underground dog fences. We also install automatic and walk-through gates, stain wood fences, and repair existing ones.
What areas do you serve?
We're based in Angier and cover Wake, Johnston and Harnett Counties — Fuquay-Varina, Garner, Benson, Willow Springs, Holly Springs, Apex, Raleigh, Cary and the communities between. If you're just outside those towns, call and ask — we'll tell you straight.
Roughly what should I budget?
It depends on the material, the length and the yard, but as a broad guide: chain-link and farm fencing are the budget-friendly end; wood and vinyl privacy fences are the most popular mid-range choice; and aluminum, pool-safety and larger multi-side projects are quoted per project. Every estimate is free and itemized, and financing is available.
During the project
Do I need to check with my HOA or handle a permit?
In many Raleigh-area neighborhoods your HOA will have rules on fence height, material and setback, and some jobs need a permit or a property-line check. We'll flag anything we can see at the estimate stage and build to what's allowed — but final HOA approval is between you and your association, so it's worth confirming before we start.
How long does a fence take to install?
It depends on the length, the material and the site, but many residential fences go in fast — one homeowner had theirs done in a single week. We'll give you a realistic timeline with your quote, handle any old-fence removal, and keep the yard tidy the whole way through.
Will you remove and haul away my old fence?
Yes. If there's an existing fence, we'll demolish and dispose of it as part of the job — one reviewer specifically called out how reasonably priced the supplies, labor, demolition and disposal all came together. You don't need to line up a separate haul-away.
How does payment and financing work?
We keep it flexible. Financing is available through our partner Enhancify, and we also offer our own plan: 50% at installation and the remaining 50% spread over six monthly payments. We'll set the terms out clearly with your quote before any work starts.
Who actually shows up to do the work?
Our own crew, with Nate handling the estimate and keeping the job on track. When one local team is answerable for the whole install, nothing gets lost — and you always know who you're dealing with, from the quote through to the walk-through.
Materials & aftercare
Wood, vinyl, aluminum or chain-link — which is right for me?
Each has its place. Wood is the most customizable and budget-friendly for privacy; vinyl gives a clean, no-maintenance finish that holds its color; ornamental aluminum defines a boundary without blocking the view and is great around pools; chain-link and farm fencing are the value options for enclosing larger areas. At the estimate we'll talk through the look, the budget and the upkeep and recommend honestly.
Should I stain my wood fence, and when?
Staining a wood fence seals the timber against moisture, slows the graying and adds years to its life. We can stain a new fence to finish it off, or re-stain a weathered one. Most wood fences benefit from a fresh coat every few years — we'll leave you with simple advice for the fence we build.
What warranty comes with the fence?
Every fence includes a complimentary 3-month workmanship warranty, with 1-year, 5-year and lifetime coverage available. Extended warranties are purchased within a month of installation. And because we're local and here to stay, we're easy to reach if you ever need us back.
